Venue Policies
Please review these important policies before submitting your selections.
Event Schedule & Hours
▾
Setup Day: 10am-10pm | Wedding Day: 10am-11pm | Breakdown Day: 10am-4pm. Extra fees apply for time beyond these windows. A pre-event walk-through and approval form is required.
Noise Policy
▾
Per Hawaii law, amplified music and loud noise must end by 10pm. Non-compliance will result in forfeiture of the $1,000 security deposit.
Payment & Security Deposit
▾
The $1,000 security deposit is fully refundable after a post-event inspection. Full payment is due 90 days before your event date. Cancellations 180+ days out receive a full refund; cancellations less than 180 days out are non-refundable.
Insurance Requirement
▾
Event liability insurance is required with a minimum of $1,000,000 in coverage. Kapila Gardens LLC must be named as an additional insured. Proof of insurance is due 30 days before your event.
Venue Rules
▾
Smoking is allowed in designated areas only. No fireworks or floating lanterns. Dogs must be leashed at all times. Guests are responsible for their own trash. Excessive noise or rule violations may result in loss of the security deposit.
Date Change Policy
▾
A $1,000 fee applies for any date change, regardless of how far in advance the change is requested.
Power Usage
▾
Power is shared among all vendors. Overloading circuits is prohibited. High-power equipment (e.g., large speakers, food warmers) must use generators unless pre-approved by the venue.
